Can you love a red-billed bird the way you love a furry sea otter, an adorable harbor seal pup, or a magical monarch butterfly? By the end of this tale, Bloy will nestle his way into your heart. Bloy, a young black oystercatcher, wants to be independent, take care of himself, and, best of all, spread his wings and fly. But before he can fly, Bloy must survive as a tiny, baby bird on the rocky coastline of California.
